What this site keeps, and what it does not.
Short version: no cookies, no advertising trackers, and your answers stay in your browser unless you choose to send them.
Your quiz answers
Your answers are kept in your browser's session storage, so the result page can show notes on them. They are deleted when you close the tab. They are not sent anywhere unless you fill in the optional form.
Counting visits
To know whether the quiz is useful, the site counts events such as "a page was viewed," "the quiz was started" and "the quiz was finished with this result." Each count is stored only as a total per day. No cookie is set, and no IP address, device ID or other identifier is stored with the counts.
Links that carry campaign tags
If you arrived from a link with campaign tags in the address (such as utm_source), the site keeps those tags in session storage and sends them with the optional form, so Scribe knows which link brought you. Links from this site to scribemedia.com are tagged to show they came from here.
If you send the form
Your name, email, optional phone number, your quiz result and your answers are sent to Scribe Media and stored in Scribe's customer system (HubSpot). Scribe uses them to get in touch with you and as described in the Scribe Media privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from Scribe's emails at any time.
Fonts and hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web server, these receive standard request information such as your IP address in order to deliver the page.
